Helping teachers learn their new students' names
Updated: Mar 5
I've recently started participating in weekly design challenges. This week the ask was to create a platform that helps teachers learn their new students' names, with a focus on both speed and accuracy. I decided to build this as a mobile app so that teachers can test themselves on the go.
I started with some quick sketching:
Next I started translating these paper sketches into digital wireframes using Sketch:
The app allows teachers to test their memory in two ways: matching students' names to their faces, or matching students' faces to their names. The results from both types of quiz are combined into a single score, which is displayed on the Stats page.
Teachers can review their review their class list in order to study and improve their scores. Teachers can also manage multiple classes at once using the sidebar.
